Clean Twice Daily - Use a mild sea salt solution. Soak a clean paper towel or non-woven gauze in the solution and gently clean around the piercing.
-
Avoid Over-Cleaning - Cleaning more than twice daily can cause irritation and delay healing
-
Do Not Twist or Rotate - Moving the jewelry can introduce bacteria and damage healing tissue.
-
Avoid Harsh Products - No alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, Bactine, or ointments, as they can slow healing and irritate the piercing.
